Refund policy

No refunds once the code has been accessed

Last updated 24 October 2026

PasteMotion Pro, when it's on sale, is a one-time digital purchase, and access starts as soon as you pay. Because the code can't be handed back once you've seen it, we can't refund a Pro payment after you've opened Pro code. Every animation has a live preview you can try first, so please use those before you buy.

What counts as access

You've accessed Pro code if, while signed in to a Pro account, you do any of these:

  • view a Pro item's code, which happens as soon as you open its page while signed in with Pro (its code tab loads straight away), or open a React or Tailwind tab on any animation,
  • use Copy all on a Pro item,
  • download a .zip of a Pro item, or a .zip that includes React or Tailwind code for any animation, or
  • use Open in CodePen on a Pro item.

The site records the first time this happens on your account. Looking at live previews, thumbnails, the customiser and credits never counts as access, and they stay free for everyone.

Before you've accessed any code

Changed your mind, or bought by mistake? Email support@pastemotion.dev from the address on your account, before you open any Pro code, and include the payment reference from your receipt. We'll review your request. If our records show you haven't opened any Pro code, we'll normally refund the payment and switch Pro off on your account. How quickly the money reaches you depends on your bank or card provider.

If you were charged but Pro didn't switch on, or you were charged twice, that's on us. Email the same address and we'll put it right.

Who processes the payment

Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, who act as the merchant of record. That means Dodo takes your payment, issues your receipt and sends any refund back to your original payment method. Refunds are approved by us and paid out by Dodo.

At checkout you're asked to confirm: “I understand access starts immediately and that refunds aren't available once I've opened Pro code.” This page is the longer version of that sentence. See also the terms and the Pro licence.
